I'd never done an interview before this so it was important for me to do research so I could be prepared for it. I decided to look at the national careers website for some tips.

I already knew the brief and had a detailed PowerPoint prepared, I also went over my notes many times so I could make them more concise so I wouldn't simply be speaking at the interviewer and it could be as interactive as possible.

The national careers website says to be polite, listen to questions carefully and be honest as some of th main advice. I will keep all of this in mind when doing the interview.

Feedback

After doing the interview there are some things that went well and others that didn't go as well as I would've liked. I think overall I explained my ideas well and got the points I planned on making across.

On the other hand, I was very nervous and I think that's very clear to see and when asked questions I didn't know how to answer them at all which was very distressing.

Although, I wish the interview went better I did the best I could and I now know what kind of questions could be asked and what kind of comparisons could be made so next time I have an interview I will be more prepared.
